Visiting The Clinton Presidential Center

The William J Clinton Presidential Center & Park is a world-class educational and cultural destination offering a variety of special events, exhibitions, educational programs and lectures throughout the year. Most importantly, the Clinton Center is a reflection of the work – past, present and future – of the 42nd President of the United States.

When President Clinton dedicated his Presidential Center in November 2004, more than 30,000 people attended. Since then, the Center has welcomed three million visitors from around the world.

The Center is located within a 30-acre park and has helped revitalize downtown Little Rock by serving as a catalyst for more than $3 billion dollars in economic development to the area.

The Clinton Library Archives houses more than 79,000 artifacts, 2 million photographs, and 80 million pages of documents from the eight years of the Clinton Administration.

Exhibits

Featuring 20,000 square feet of exhibit space, the Clinton Library chronicles American history at the turn of the 21st century. Interactive exhibits, including a White House Cabinet Room reconstruction and a full-scale replica of the Oval Office, give visitors a first-hand look into the life and work of the 42nd president. Other featured exhibits include 13 policy alcoves and an interactive 110-foot timeline within which the history of the Clinton Administration unfolds. Another section of the museum is designed to present exhibits about life in the White House: showing the splendor of state events, the spirit of holiday celebrations and how the Clintons made the White House their home.

While the permanent exhibits tell the story of the President Clinton and the Clinton Administration, the temporary exhibits give visitors an opportunity to always see something new.

From celebrating Oscar de la Renta to World Series Champions St. Louis Cardinals, each temporary exhibit provides a dynamic backdrop for new and exciting custom-designed events, lectures, and programs. Admittance to the temporary exhibits is in included in the Center’s regular admission fee.
