Visit the Kentucky Artisan Center in Berea, the “Folk Arts and Craft Capitol of Kentucky” as part of this group motorcoach vacation package. Located at 200 Artisan Way, just minutes from downtown Berea, Kentucky, the Kentucky Artisan Center started out as a local initiative in Madison County, following the tornado that struck Berea, Kentucky’s Old Town area in 1996, damaging a number of artisan shops and weakening these artisans and other’s ability to market their work with visitors to the state. Since its beginnings, the Kentucky Artisan Center has evolved into a state-of the art facility that celebrates Kentucky’s artisan heritage and encourages Kentuckians and those traveling through Kentucky to enjoy Kentucky artisan products and activities.
